Just wanted to let everyone know that from May the newsletter I sent out will change from a weekly schedule to bi-monthly one. So anyone subscribed can expect to receive it every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.
The change is mainly due to the fact that I'd like to update quite a few aspects of the site and preparing the newsletter does take a fair amount of my time (on top of answering emails, writing articles and posting recipes). I would like to make the site more mobile and print friendly and add some enhancements that I think are long over-due.
Hopefully it won't make that much of a difference to the newsletter recipients, but will help me free up some time. :)
Recently BBC aired an interesting documentary about exercise called Horizon: The Truth About Exercise. Among other things it touches on the fact that we are not robots that react to the same input in identical ways. Our genes do have a say in many aspects of our life and exercise and fitness is no exception. It also introduces the concept of how small amount of exercise can make a huge difference.
